Inland Empire Sales Representative

Overall Responsibilities
Pursuing new on-premise accounts while servicing current accounts.  Building the number of accounts within the sales goals provided. 

Requirements and Competencies

  • High School diploma with 2 years College. 4 year College degree preferred.
  • Demonstrated sales skills required.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Excellent internal and external customer service skills.
  • Highly organized with ability to manage priorities and coordinate multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Self-motivated and results oriented.
  • Must have valid driver's license, safe driving record, and eligible for current insurance coverage.
  • Ability to work flexible hours including nights and weekends.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Able to lift, load, unload, and move products weighing up to 165 lbs as well as hang merchandising materials.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Responsible for regular call frequency on assigned retail accounts primarily to sell volume, increase distribution, merchandise, monitor price and shelf space management.
  • Build business relationships using a high level of selling skills and present professional sales presentations using sales histories and segment data.
  • Responsible for maintaining brewery freshness standards in assigned retail accounts by monitoring and rotating stocks.
  • Responsible for maintaining up-to-date route & customer data.
  • Sell in new beer placements, merchandise beer display, book promotional sampling events.
  • Increase shelf space and position for Hangar 24 craft beers and alliance brands. Introduce new craft beer brands and packages where appropriate.
  • Work with Credit Department to resolve credit issues including collecting past due balances
  • Responsible for daily decisions regarding retail inventory levels using past sales history, changes in climate, competitive activity and special promotional activities
  • Responsible for fulfilling pre-established objectives set by the Sales Manager and implementation of sales and distribution programs at retail level
  • Responsible for any other tasks deemed necessary by Sales Manager

Delivery Driver

Overall Responsibilities
Delivery, pick-up and rotation of kegs and bottles

Requirements and Competencies

  • Valid Commercial drivers license (Class B or Class A) with a satisfactory driving record
  • Loading the delivery truck
  • Rotating stock at both the brewery and wholesale accounts
  • Use of pallet jacks, hand carts, and other equipment for which trained
  • Must be able to lift, load, unload, and move products, and must be able to twist, turn, croup, stoop, and/or squat repeatedly throughout the day
  • Basic math skills needed to adjust invoices when necessary
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Knowledge of the different brands brewed by Hangar 24
  • Accurate record keeping including, but not limited to: mileage, number of stops (and kegs/cases) per shift, invoices, COD orders, keg deposit returns.
  • Be able to work with minimal supervision, stay on track with timing of deliveries, while projecting a great image for the product and company.
  • Any other duties assigned by a supervisor
