Overall Responsibilities
Pursuing new on-premise accounts while servicing current accounts. Building the number of accounts within the sales goals provided.
Key areas of Responsibility
- Responsible for regular call frequency on assigned retail accounts primarily to sell volume, increase distribution, merchandise, monitor price and shelf space management.
- Build business relationships using a high level of selling skills and present professional sales presentations using sales histories and segment data.
- Responsible for maintaining brewery freshness standards in assigned retail accounts by monitoring and rotating stocks.
- Responsible for maintaining up-to-date route & customer data.
- Sell in new beer placements, merchandise beer display, book promotional sampling events.
- Increase shelf space and position for Hangar 24 craft beers and alliance brands. Introduce new craft beer brands and packages where appropriate.
- Work with Credit Department to resolve credit issues including collecting past due balances
- Responsible for daily decisions regarding retail inventory levels using past sales history, changes in climate, competitive activity and special promotional activities
- Responsible for fulfilling pre-established objectives set by the Sales Manager and implementation of sales and distribution programs at retail level
- Responsible for any other tasks deemed necessary by Sales Manager
Requirements and Competencies
- High School diploma with 2 years College. 4 year College degree preferred.
- Demonstrated sales skills required.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Excellent internal and external customer service skills.
- Highly organized with ability to manage priorities and coordinate multiple projects simultaneously.
- Self-motivated and results oriented.
- Must have valid driver's license, safe driving record, and eligible for current insurance coverage.
- Ability to work flexible hours including nights and weekends.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Able to lift, load, unload, and move products weighing up to 165 lbs as well as hang merchandising materials.

Overall Responsibilities
Selling beer and other retail products to customers during tasting hours
Key areas of Responsibility
- To sell beer (pints, six-packs, growlers, kegs and related equipment) and other merchandise (t-shirts, window stickers, pint glasses, gift certificates and tap handles) to customers who come to the brewery during tasting hours
- Maintaining a clean and orderly tasting room, bathroom and other areas of the brewery accessible by customers during hours of operation.
- Beer-tenders must have a basic knowledge of the beer (flavors, ingredients, etc) in order to answer questions from customers, as well as conduct tastings
- Ensure that all customers are abiding by rules and regulations as established by State of California, Alcohol Beverage Control, City of Redlands, etc.

Primary Duties
Daily website and social media maintenance and design under supervision, following a predetermined schedule while maintaining company branding and image.
Key areas of Responsibility
- Daily maintenance of website, content, functionality creation, troubleshooting, performance enhancements, monitor analytics and future changes.
- Daily updating and monitoring of social media platforms and engagement.
- Weekly updates of events and announcements to Wordpress website, Facebook, twitter, online calendar services and others.
- Implementing social media campaigns and apps under direct supervision
- Monitoring and reporting Facebook insights for activity and ad campaigns
- Monitoring and reporting Google analytics and other site traffic sources
Qualifications
- College-level degree in related field (computer science, design-related field, marketing); currently in progress; or equivalent level of experience.
- Knowledge of html, html5, CSS, and SEO
- Experience maintaining and updating Facebook fan page (business pages required)
- Experience with Wordpress
- Knowledge of custom Wordpress templates and designs, and Wordpress plugins is a plus.
- Knowledge of Dreamweaver, Wordpress, Hootsuite
- Understanding of general concepts of online analytics
- Understanding of craft beer and craft beer culture is preferred
- Understanding of Google Adwords campaigns is a plus

Market Manager- Arizona:

Overall Responsibilities
Develop Distributor relationships to gain and enhance distribution and sales of Hangar 24/alliance brands fast growing craft beer portfolio. Call on top key retail accounts to augment distributor efforts. Develop guerilla marketing promotions for Hangar 24 craft and alliance brands that do not have large advertising budgets. Conduct distributor sales rep ride along to enhance consumer / retailer sampling programs where legal. Manage Hangar 24 craft brewery trade promotion programs.
Key areas of Responsibility
- Coordinate activities of wholesalers within assigned area of responsibility, ensuring the implementation of all sales and marketing programs for the entire portfolio.
- Motivate distributor management and sales force in order to achieve sales objectives, including the development and oversight of wholesaler incentive programming.
- Focus on selling craft beer products and/or upgrading alliance product lines in retail accounts (bars/restaurants, liquor/grocery stores).
- Identify core accounts that are not being penetrated with Hangar 24 craft / alliance products and develop a plan to establish business with such accounts. Be responsible for the allocation and use of all point-of-sale materials.
- Collect data on distributor pricing, distribution, volume and general market information.
- Compile and submit reports required for the sales division.
- Operate effectively within Brewery budgetary guidelines.
- Conduct distributor / retailer staff educations, beer tastings and beer dinners.
(Note: evenings/weekends).
- Ensure proper merchandizing of on- and off-premise accounts
- Develop and maintain close relationships with key accounts both on and off-premise.
- Work with assigned distributors to increase brand awareness and consumption.
- Track and monitor progress in all identified top volume accounts.
- Train, schedule and manage sampling teams.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Three to Five year’s malt beverage experience, preferably with at least one year at a beer/wine distributor.
- Ability to interface with various levels of management, at wholesale as well as retail.
- Self-motivation and ability to work with limited amount of direction; ability to work both independently and within a team to accomplish goals.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills; ability to speak in front of large groups, conduct staff trainings and evening functions.
- Strong work ethic; demonstrated ability to plan and manage multiple responsibilities.
